What is the A board made from?

We manufacture this A board using sustainable Redwood Pine 15 x 50mm timber for the frame and finish this with black paint. Due to the use of natural wood materials, finishes may vary.  The front panel is made from aluminium composite material, which is suitable for chalk pens and can be fully printed with your artwork, they are fitted together at the top using steel hinges.

Can the ACM panel be removed?

The ACM panel is screwed to the front of the framework and is not recommended to be removed. If you are looking for an A-Board that has inserts that are fully removable, we would recommend the Reversible A-Board range.

Is the A-Board weatherproof?

The A-Board is recommended for interior use due to how lightweight they are. The ACM panel is weather resistant, however, the timber frame would weather over time if left outside for long periods of time.

How do I store the Lightweight Display A-Board?

This style of A-board folds away sign folds away for easy and neat storage. When closed, the total width is only 45mm thick.

What type of chalk can I use on this A-board?

These ACM boards can be used with liquid chalkpen, we would recommend our Securit Chalkpens. For cleaning, these can be cleaned with a wet cloth or a chalk pen cleaner. We do not advise using any form of solvent or chemicals to clean these boards as this can affect print.
