Retail Displays: The Process

At Majisign, every product we create tells a story—not just of craftsmanship and quality, but of dedication, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of perfection. Today, we’re excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at how we bring a new retail display product to life.

The journey begins with an idea. It might be sparked by a customer request, market trends, or a flash of inspiration during a brainstorming session. For this new product, our team of designers started by sketching out possibilities, researching competitors and imagining how it could solve a problem or add value to our customers’ businesses.

In this case, the idea was to create a new poster display A-Board that can hold printed posters, keep them clean and dry, whilst also keeping them easy to change, suitable for retail displays and on-the-street marketing.

Prototyping

After the initial ideation process, the workshop then moved on to prototyping. Using advanced machinery and sustainable materials, we crafted the first versions of the product in our workshop. Each prototype was carefully reviewed, tested, and refined to ensure it met Majisign’s high standards for durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

Collaboration and Expertise

Creating something new is always a team effort. From our skilled woodworkers to our professional graphic designers, everyone played a crucial role. Our team collaborated to fine-tune the design, improve production efficiency, and ensure every detail was perfect. Feedback was constant, constructive criticism was frequent, and multiple iterations were undertaken to ensure the final product truly shone and created the perfect poster display solution for retail displays.

The Finishing Touches

Once the design was finalised, our production team got to work. They combined traditional woodworking techniques with modern technology to produce a batch of stunning, robust items that would look great in front of any retail store.

Every piece was hand-finished to perfection, embodying the quality Majisign is known for. We pride ourselves in our high quality products, and this carries through not only our new ideas but also refining old products to keep up with trends and exceed expectations.
